The blockchain technology is still on the rise in the mainstream. And it does not stop at the phenomenon of “Battle-Shows” like “Germany’s Next Top Model” and “Germany seeks the Superstar”. A South Korean television station is now planning a blockchain survival show, in which a jury will vote with the audience for the best blockchain project.
The South Korean TV channel Asia Economy TV plans to broadcast a new Blockchain TV show titled ” Blockbattle – Who is the Next Satoshi ” on October 19th. In five episodes, various crypto projects from around the world will be shown. Viewers should vote in real-time on who is presenting the most promising blockchain project.
In Search of The Next Satoshi
At the beginning of the show, ten development teams will present their blockchain project. They are supported by national and international experts from the fields of technology, economics, law, marketing, and finance. Then a jury evaluates their projects. The jury members are from Korea University, Dongguk University, the Korean Blockchain Industry Association, the Open Blockchain Association and the Korea Blockchain Association. They are supported by Damian Williams of Alchemist Ventures, Rayol Hwang of Hillstone Partners, Roger Ver of Bitcoin.com, Lee Shin-Hye of GBIC and other well-known figures in the industry.
But the audience should also be included in the decision. You can vote for your favorite project after the show. Blockbattle explains the principle of the Blockchain survival show.
“After the screening, ten projects will qualify for the final. You will be in a series of presentations, individual fights and other team competitions “
From October 19th, the program will air on Asia Economy TV. The transmitter can be received in South Korea, China, Australia, Thailand, Malaysia, Taiwan, Singapore, Vietnam and Hong Kong. But even non-Asian viewers can pursue the fight for the title “Next Satoshi“. The blockchain survival show will also be broadcast live on the YouTube channel ” Coincast“.
Final on the 19th of November
The finale of the Blockchain Survival Show is scheduled for November 19th. Development teams can apply to participate by September 5th.
“Blockbattle – Who is the Next Satoshi” is not the first mainstream show dedicated to a crypto theme. The CNBC documentary ” Bitcoin: Boom or Bust ” will start on August 27th. In the Japanese program “Bitgirls”, which was broadcasted in 2016, seven young women represented a cryptocurrency. The viewers were able to vote for their favorite ” Bitgirl ” by purchasing the respective cryptocurrency.
