According to a recent press release, Ripple has won former US President Bill Clinton as the keynote speaker for its annual Ripple- Swell conference. Swell invites global political, monetary and technology leaders to come together and discuss how Blockchain and Ripple can be used.
Bill Clinton, the 42nd President of the United States, will give a keynote address at the upcoming Ripple-Swell conference, as well as participate in a question and answer (Q & A) round during the meeting.
Ripple stated in the press release that President Clinton has helped initiate a period of extreme growth and internet adoption and has also helped to overcome the digital divide.

He Has Also Launched Programs That Bridged The Digital Divide And Brought New Technologies To Underserved Communities Around The World.
The Q & A session, which also includes Clinton, will be chaired by Gene Sperling, a member of the Ripple Board of Directors. Sperling, who joined Ripple in 2015, previously worked as a consultant and director of the National Economic Council with President Clinton and Obama. This year’s Swell Conference will be held from October, 1st to October 2nd,2018 in San Francisco, California, which is also the birthplace of Ripple.
This year’s Swell conference will also feature companies offering financial services using blockchain technology in production, to learn about new market opportunities in remittances, e-commerce and marketplaces, and various regulatory frameworks for the regulation of digital assets in Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
