Pioneer in Finance Technologies

Switzerland is a country having a sophisticated banking system and a keen interest in fintech innovation. Today, the country has its own “cryptotal” – the city of Zug, where a functioning Blockchain ecosystem was developed and many famous projects such as the Ethereum Foundation, Monetas, Lykke, were founded.

Zug is known for several business accelerators as well as the HSLU-I University, which trains blockchain specialists. You can also pay for goods and services with Bitcoin and exchange it for paper money in one of three Bitcoin ATMs. At the end of July, the vote on the eID system will be based on the distributed ledger in Zug.

In 2018, Procivis Startup successfully tested and implemented the eID solution and a range of eGovernment services. Now users can submit tax returns, register their residence and use passport services with their smartphones.

In addition, there are Blockchain platforms for over-the-counter securities trading, which are set up by large financial organizations in Switzerland. For the blockchain business application, 75% of Swiss companies plan to integrate the technology over the next three years (according to the PwC report).

The Blockchain conference of Smile-Expo in Switzerland offers the opportunity to meet global experts in blockchain and cryptocurrency. It’s a comfortable network space where you can share experiences with companies that have already developed and implemented real blockchain-based solutions.

The event is suitable for the following persons:

  • Blockchain and cryptocurrency specialists who want to get new and relevant first-hand information;
  • Those seeking a career in blockchain and cryptocurrency;
  • Entrepreneurs who want to integrate decentralized technologies into their business.
