One of the largest crypto currency exchanges in the world, Binance, has announced that the Exchange will launch a free educational platform that will include comprehensive information on blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies.
The company has unveiled a new education initiative and open access platform named “Binance Academy”, designed to advance the understanding and adaptation of blockchain technology and cryptocurrency.
The Binance Academy can be reached at the website binance.vision and provides a first point of contact for industry-relevant image articles and videos. This includes basics in the introduction of blockchain technology, proven security procedures as well as the handling and storage of cryptocurrencies. Furthermore, there is also a large glossary that explains many terms easily and understandably.
The CEO of Binance, Changpeng Zhao, opined :
The task of the BINANCE Academy is to increase knowledge about the possibilities of blockchain and cryptocurrencies by providing comprehensive and accessible learning content to the world, a video series and a detailed explanatory report at the same time.
Furthermore, interested parties can submit a request, so that employees of the Academy can deal with the presented topic and publish videos and further information. Likewise, self-generated content can be submitted on the platform as well.
Zhao further describes that the foundation for further spreading the crypto movement is the indispensable knowledge. With the sole aim of creating awareness about the technology, he further stated:
